Trad Group takes place on Tuesday mornings before school, with students from all year groups taking part. Annual performances include school masses, Open Nights, Tullamore Tradfest, Seachtain na Gaeilge, local primary schools and various school and community events. The Trad Group launched their CD in January 2024, titled ‘Ceol na Maidine’, involving students from 1st to 6th year, along with several staff members. The Trad Group won the 2026 Wesley Interschools Festival Traditional Group Competition, their first year to enter the competition. They are proud to preserve and promote the culture of Irish Traditional Music, and always welcome new members. Ms Faherty, Ms Meehan and Ms Dunne teach the Trad Group.
