On behalf of the staff and students at Sacred Heart School, Tullamore you are very welcome to our website. As you peruse our website we sincerely hope you get an insight into the ethos of our school which was established in Tullamore over 180 years ago.
The pursuit of excellence has been the core objective of our school. The Sacred Heart School, Tullamore is widely acknowledged as one of the key feeder schools to national universities and third level institutions in the country.
We have an unrivalled record in student success and we strive to maximise the development and potential of each of our pupil’s capabilities in academic and co-curricular areas. The Sacred Heart School tradition has been achieved through the generations in a respectful and positive environment as we provide our students with an education which becomes the foundation stones for their future.
The Sacred Heart School, Tullamore is a member of CEIST (Catholic Education, an Irish Schools Trust) the trustee body for the voluntary secondary schools of the Mercy Sisters and four other Congregations with responsibility for over 100 schools in Ireland.
CEIST is built on the founding vision of the five Congregations, emphasising the dignity and rights of the human person, empowering the most vulnerable in society and enabling young people to become catalysts for social transformation throughout the world.
I hope you find that our website reflects the dynamic school environment here at the Sacred Heart where students are offered a broad academic curriculum and complemented by extra-curricular activities. Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you require any further information about the Sacred Heart.
