Choirs at the Sacred Heart School:
The choirs under the direction of the Music Department here at the Sacred Heart School perform a broad range of repertoire from sacred to secular and participate in many community events in the locality throughout Ireland and abroad. Throughout the past decade, both the Junior and Senior choirs have won many accolades at festivals throughout the country such as Feis Ceoil, Navan Choral Festival and Wesley Interschools Music Festival to name a few. Most recently the senior choir performed live on RTÉ One as part of the national Easter Triduum ceremonies and this year will be launching Catholic School’s week live on RTÉ One on Sunday 26th January.
The Senior Choir (3rd Year – 6th Year) rehearse every Thursday after school from 3:35pm – 4:15pm in the Music Room.
The Junior Choir (1st Year and 2nd Year) rehearse every Tuesday after school from 3:35pm – 4:15pm in the Music Room.
