Here at the Sacred Heart School Tullamore we are very fortunate to have an Orchestra as one of our many musical ensembles. Down through the years, the Orchestra boasts of many accolades of which performing at the NCH Dublin as part of the Festival of Youth Orchestra in 2012 being a particular highlight. The orchestra welcomes all abilities with many students involved in the arrangement of pieces. The orchestra also performs at local community events such as the turning on of the Christmas lights, local carol services and visits the hospital and nursing homes each year for various performances.
The Orchestra (all years) rehearse every Wednesday after school from 3:35pm – 4:30pm in the Music Room.
