The Sacred Heart School has made history, securing an unprecedented victory at the VEX Robotics National Finals. Competing against 24 of Ireland’s top teams, the SHS VEX Robotics squad swept the competition, claiming titles in Autonomous, Skills, and the most prestigious accolade of all—the Overall Excellence Award.
Their triumph on Wednesday, the 26th of February, has earned them a coveted spot at the VEX Robotics World Championships in Dallas, Texas, where they will proudly represent Ireland on the global stage.
Adding to their achievement, the Sacred Heart’s team will make history once again as the first all-girls team to compete at championship level. Their success is a testament to their skill, dedication, and the school’s commitment to fostering excellence in STEM.
With their sights now set on Dallas, the SHS "Steminists" are ready to take on the world.
